What these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CARE membership, community, courses, live sessions, recordings, certificates, and downloadable materials (collectively, the “Service”).

By joining CARE or accessing any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

• Minimum age: CARE is for individuals 16+.
  
  
• Your account: Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
  
  
• We may suspend or terminate access for suspected misuse, policy violations, or safety concerns.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellations

• Auto-renewal: CARE is a subscription that renews automatically (monthly or annually, as shown at checkout) at the then-current price until you cancel.
  
  
• Cancel anytime: Cancel in your account settings or by emailing [email protected] before the next renewal date. Access continues through the end of the current paid term.
  
  
• 14-day refund window (initial purchase only): You may cancel within 14 days of your first CARE purchase for a full refund. After that, no refunds or partial refunds are provided (except at our discretion).
  
  
• Renewal reminders: The platform may send service emails (e.g., receipts). We do not guarantee renewal reminders. You are responsible for managing your subscription and billing dates.
  
  
• Price changes: We may change prices on renewal with reasonable notice by posting in the Service or emailing the address on file.
  
  

EU/UK right of withdrawal: If a statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies, you acknowledge that immediate access to digital content can affect that right once delivery begins. This does not affect mandatory legal rights.

Community guidelines

Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Key points:

• Keep discussions respectful; no harassment, hate, spam, or illegal content.
  
  
• Follow forum-specific rules (e.g., where individualized training advice is not allowed).
  
  
• We may edit/remove content, issue warnings, limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect members and the Service.
  
  
• Report concerns to [email protected]; we review and act within a reasonable timeframe.
  
  

Certificates

• Certificates are automatically generated by the platform and do not expire.
  
  
• Names print as they appear in your account profile; ensure accuracy.
  
  
• We may revoke or correct a certificate in cases of suspected fraud, policy violations, or refunded purchases.
   
• You’re encouraged to share certificates on social media; doing so does not grant a license to reuse our other Content.
  

Intellectual Property

All materials, videos, written guides, and other content made available through CARE (“Content”) are the exclusive property of The Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use as an active member. You may not copy, share, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise make the Content available to any third party without prior written consent. You also agree not to circumvent access controls or share your login with anyone else.

Your content & license to us

If you post in our community, submit challenge entries, or appear in live sessions:

• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share your content within the Service for its normal operation (e.g., forum display, replays).
  
  
• Separate, explicit consent will be obtained for public marketing use of your posts or testimonials (outside the Service).

Use of recordings

Please note that lectures such as Zoom meetings/webinars, and other audio or visual services may be recorded and can be used in the future by Nordic Dog Trainer for business and promotional materials or in conjunction with the sale of any products or services unless you specifically request otherwise. No Guarantee of Results

Dog training outcomes depend on a variety of factors outside our control, including but not limited to the dog’s breed, age, temperament, history, health, and the guardian’s commitment and consistency. The Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding specific results from the use of the Content.

Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

You acknowledge that working with dogs carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your dog’s actions and behavior at all times. The Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, animals, or property arising from your use of the Content or participation in training. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your dog’s actions. Always ensure training is carried out in a safe, responsible manner and seek professional, in-person assistance if needed.

Third-party services

CARE runs on third-party platforms and tools (e.g., Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, Zoom, Vimeo, Typeform, Simplero, One.com). Their terms apply in addition to ours.

Changed Terms

We may at any time amend these Terms and Conditions. Such amendments are effective immediately upon notice to you by means of us posting the new Terms and Conditions on this Site. Any use of the Site or Service by you after being so notified implies that you have accepted such amendments. We reserve the right to update any portion of our Site and Service, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time. We will post the most recent versions to the Site and list the effective dates on the pages of our Terms and Conditions.

Governing law; disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. The exclusive venue for disputes is Norway. Before formal proceedings, the parties will attempt good-faith resolution (including mediation if agreed).
